Give Me Liberty is the Liberty Village BIA’s 17th Annual Street Party that celebrates all things Liberty Village.
Each year in June, Fraser Ave (North of Liberty St) is closed down and transformed into an outdoor patio filled with 30 local vendors, live music and unique activations. Thursday, June 22nd, 4:00-10:00 pm the event will once again take over the Village, closing Fraser Ave from King W to Liberty to feature:
Music and Entertainment featuring local artists, DJs and more! Activities for adults, children and pets! Food Experience featuring local purveyors. Pop Up Market featuring businesses of the LVBIA. Beer + Garden featuring local brewers, mixologists and lawn games.
Monica is inspired by professional guest musicians and Junior Jammers to build DIY craft-struments, then they all come together with their instruments for an epic Backyard Beats jam session.
Brass band Turbo Street Funk visit the backyard which inspires Monica's French horn craft-strument project. Junior Jammer Nathan joins them for a special performance.
We have games and activities for everyone so bring the family and come have some fun! There is live music and performers here to entertain on the weekends and plenty of photo ops for you and the kids.
We'll close a portion of Main and Division to allow Kingsville businesses to expand their patios into the street. Enjoy a stroll through our vibrant community's fresh, open spaces. Open Streets is dependent on weather. Free concerts are provided by the Kingsville Music Society and Arts Society of Kingsville hosts family activities on the Carnegie parquette. Check this site regularly for updates.
We're happy to be playing in Toronto again. We miss our Toronto people!
